Attunement is simply like digging a path for the water to flow in a farm. Doesn’t matter who has done it, and yes the path can stop channeling water if it was left unattended for too long and will need a re-digging. So same way if you don’t practice for long then the attunment needs to be repeated for the energy to flow smoothly. And doesn’t matter who attunes you, attunement is attunement.<\/p>\n

I met a Reiki teacher who said i can assure you I will connect you to the right energy.. So i got this question. Because as per me we all have Reiki flowing through us and attunement makes us aware of it<\/strong><\/p>\n

No that is incorrect. If you already had sufficient amount of energy flowing through you, you wouldn’t need attunement. You would be able to place your hands on anyone and be able to heal. Children can do this before they get ‘polluted’ and some adults can too, although even they benefit from an attunement because there are always some blocks which can be further removed.<\/p>\n

But as they say Reiki is life force energy so its flowing thru us all irrespective of whether one is reiki channel or not. So attunement will clear d blocks thats stopping flow<\/strong>..<\/p>\n

Yes it flows through all, even dead bodies, but dead bodies cannot heal you, can they? To be able to heal, one needs life force energy beyond a certain extent. That is what attunement does – it takes you beyond that threshold. So it is correct that Reiki flows through everything. But it is incorrect to say that attunement ‘makes us aware of it’ – no, it does way more than just that. Awareness of the feeble amounts of energy that flow through you (before attunement) wouldn’t do anything for you at all.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
