Combining meditation with Reiki is a wonderful way of deepening Reiki practice. When you place your hands on each chakra, allow yourself to go inwards deeply. Become aware of what is happening inside – inside your mind, inside your body. Watch your thoughts, watch the sensations in your body. Music can be a powerful tool in deepening your state. Here are a few tracks that I love.
Here’s a track will a bell every 3 minutes. I normally don’t recommend the use of such audios, because if you follow external signals blindly, you will not develop a connection with your body. If you haven’t done this in the past, heal your entire body without using external signals, and if your total time is less than 35 min, just repeat a few chakras.
However, if you’ve been practicing Reiki for a while now, and found that you’re going through a phase where you feel nothing, and where healing sessions seem boring and end quickly, then it is ok to resort to this – atleast it ensures that you take a good 40-50 minutes for your self healing!
